Manasa Nadig is a highly experienced Enrolled Agent specializing in cross-border tax preparation. With over two decades of experience, she expertly guides individuals and small businesses through complex international tax regulations. Manasa's commitment to accurate, timely, and personalized service has earned her long-term clients, both within the United States and all around the world.
Originally from India, Manasa moved to the Unites States as a newlywed to join her husband. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Commerce from St. Agnes College, Mangalore University, India.
Her educational background in accountancy and working with cross-border taxation, tax treaties and her own experiences as a foreign born naturalized US citizen, sparked her interest in U.S. international taxation, foreign compliance and reporting.
After working with several CPA firms, she took a leap of faith in 2012 to start her own firm, "MN Tax & Business Services", with encouragement from clients, friends, family, and her mentor.
She started her cross-border and U.S. international tax blog, "The Buzz About Taxes" in 2013 as a way to educate people about cross-border taxation and foreign asset reporting compliance requirements. Her aim is always to translate the complexities of this section of taxes into "plain English", so that people realize the existence of and understand their filing obligations.

She launched “The International Money Café” podcast, with her friend, Jane Mepham in 2023. Jane is a CFP, owner of Elgon Financial Advisors, and she works with individuals in the cross-border space. Jane came to the United States as a student from Kenya, and has built her life and financial practice in the U.S. with the same zeal and drive to help fellow foreign born nationals as Manasa does. They bring their synergy, lived experiences, camaraderie and common love of coffee/ chai to the podcast and it is quickly gaining a loyal following from all over the world.
When she is not helping clients navigate tax complexities, Manasa enjoys writing, reading, listening to podcasts, music, her yoga practice, and spending time with her family and friends.
